Room for Him?

"And she brought forth her firstborn son,
and wrapped him in swaddling clothes,
and laid him in a manger;
because there was no room for them in the inn."
Luke 2:7

Interesting. No room.

Did that stop Mary?

No.

She made room for Him.

This Christmas, I encourage you to make room for Jesus in your home and heart.

Intentional effort.

How?

Reread His birth story.

Give intangible gifts to others.

Have family prayer.

Return a favor.

Share joy.

Laugh.

Forgive a wrong against you.

Befriend someone.

Visit the elderly.

Extend hospitality . . . not just to your home but, in your heart.

We are so grateful for you, dear readers, and wish you a most blessed Christmas 2013.

I love that post. Despite not being particularly religious I like the ethos of Christianity (in its proper form) and the code of conduct gives us to live by. "Give intangible gifts to others," was my favourite. Thank you.

Congratulations on Happy Christmas!!!
HMS Ocean's Christmas video a YouTube hit.
Overjoyed at the prospect of returning to the UK for Christmas, HMS Ocean's crew decided to make a festive video to the tune of Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You.
